This is currently New Zealand’s only national health network. We are the preferred provider to 20 of the country’s DHBs for video conferencing services. Utilising the structure of a monthly fee covering all network, support and connectivity gives users, secure, unrestricted and uncapped access to all other units on the network. As the network is fully managed, external connectivity is made through two access points (ISDN and External Internet gateways) that are owned and support by NZTPS.

The service has seen a five fold increase in endpoints (12 endpoints to 72) from June 2004 to June 2007 showing that this medium and method of service delivery has become a core operating requirement in the New Zealand health environment.
